What we build

Veterinary imaging engineering capabilities

↗

Veterinary DICOM and web viewers

Build study navigation, image loading, comparison, measurements, annotations, and viewer controls around veterinary review workflows. Support the modalities and study types agreed for your product.

↗

Veterinary PACS and modality integration

Connect imaging modalities, archives, and viewers using DIMSE or DICOMweb. Define query, retrieval, storage, authentication, and recovery behavior against representative veterinary studies.

↗

Specialized review and visualization

Develop workflows for radiography, CT, MRI, ultrasound, dental imaging, and other supported sources. Adapt layouts, measurements, image processing, and comparison tools to the animals and clinical questions your users evaluate.

↗

Reporting and teleradiology workflows

Connect study intake, assignment, image review, reporting, and result delivery. Make incomplete studies, integration failures, and delayed work visible so operational teams can resolve them.

Relevant experience

Engineering experience with equine imaging

ACANIO brings engineering experience from an equine imaging software project, including workflows designed around specialized veterinary image review. We apply that experience alongside your product requirements, clinical input, modalities, and deployment environment.

Scope and prerequisites

Build around the veterinary workflow

Where this service fits

This service fits a new veterinary viewer or PACS product, a specialized review workflow, modality connectivity, teleradiology integration, or modernization of an existing imaging application.

What we need to begin

Bring the target species and workflows, supported modalities, viewer or archive versions, conformance statements, representative synthetic or approved test studies, deployment constraints, and the people who own clinical and integration decisions.

Engineering guide

Connect a veterinary study from acquisition to review

A veterinary imaging workflow must preserve the animal and study context while moving images reliably from acquisition through archive access and review.

  1. Define animal and study identity. Agree how patient identifiers, species, breed, responsible-person context, accession numbers, and study descriptions are represented. Establish which system owns each identifier and how mismatches are handled.
  2. Connect acquisition and exchange. Confirm modality and archive capabilities, supported SOP classes, transfer syntaxes, and the required DIMSE or DICOMweb operations. Test storage, query, and retrieval with representative studies.
  3. Build the review workflow. Configure layouts, navigation, measurements, annotations, image processing, and prior-study comparison around the intended users and study types. Keep unsupported data and incomplete studies visible.
  4. Validate and hand over. Test identity conflicts, partial studies, unavailable images, slow networks, access failures, and representative study sizes. Document configuration, supported datasets, operational checks, and recovery procedures.

Deliverables and acceptance checks

A workstream can deliver viewer modules, archive or modality adapters, workflow services, deployment configuration, synthetic test fixtures, integration tests, and technical documentation.
